Sheet pan meals are a lifesaver for busy weeknights, but not all turn out as planned. Sometimes the protein dries while the vegetables stay undercooked. When a sheet pan dinner works, though, it’s a real win: everything cooks together on one tray, cleanup is minimal, and the result is simple and satisfying. This sheet pan maple-soy salmon is built on an easy, flavorful marinade. After a quick 30-minute chill in the refrigerator, everything goes straight into the oven for a delicious family meal.
Salmon is ideal for sheet pan cooking because it needs less time than many other proteins, and green beans roast quickly while remaining crisp-tender. My family, who can be picky at dinner, loved this recipe — even my toddler asked for seconds. It’s an uncomplicated, crowd-pleasing dinner that comes together with minimal fuss.

I usually serve this dish with rice and green beans. On lazy nights I reach for microwave-ready rice pouches for speed and convenience. The maple-soy glaze on the salmon gives it a slightly sweet, savory finish that pairs well with a hearty rice blend or plain steamed rice. Because both salmon and green beans cook quickly, they make a perfect pairing on a single sheet pan.
