On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but I also wanted to include a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I grabbed a breakfast burrito there and immediately knew it belonged on this list.
I appreciate Beaumont for many reasons, but top among them are convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch mountains, Beaumont is one of the best breakfast stops before a day of adventure. I often pick up a burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through keeps it fast and accessible without sacrificing quality. While I enjoy drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots, those can be greasy and heavy, which doesn’t always sit well when I’m about to be physically active.
Beaumont’s breakfast burrito features fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it, though, is the sauce. The creamy tomatillo-escabeche dressing ties everything together—after all, a great burrito often comes down to the sauce.
Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a standout breakfast burrito. You’ll find excellent coffee and pastries, and their burrata salad is one of my favorite savory options. Beaumont is consistently reliable for quality and flavor.
One small caveat: great food attracts crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends can be busy, with a steady stream of customers and people gathered outside. If you just want coffee and pastries, don’t be deterred—you can usually grab what you need quickly or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or the nicely designed interior, allow extra time on weekends for seating.
Overall, Beaumont is a dependable spot for breakfast before a day in the canyons or a relaxed morning out. Their combination of fresh ingredients, thoughtful sauces, and convenient service makes it easy to recommend.
